Portuguese Problems is a highly anticipated six-episode sketch comedy series that is scheduled to air on March 18, 2024 on Radio Television Portugal International as well as the RTP Play App the following day). This uproarious sketch comedy show parodies well known genres and puts them through the lenses of first generation kids of immigrants, delving into the humorous and heartwarming experiences of growing up in an ethnic home.
Brian Martins and Derrick DeMelo, widely recognized as The Portuguese Kids, have been captivating audiences within the Portuguese diaspora and beyond for nearly two decades. Together, along with two time Emmy winning Cinematographer Dean Camara they have teamed up with RTPi to deliver the first English language program fully created and produced outside of Portugal. Featuring high quality production values coupled with a cast of talented actors and comedians, each episode offers a captivating storyline and engaging story arcs.
